Infrared Touch
Technology
Infrared Touch operates by the manner of Light Interruption. The bezel of the infrared touch frame is surrounded with LED and photo transistors. The controller circuitry directs a sequence of pulses to the LEDs, scanning the screen with an invisible grid of infrared light in front of the surface. The bezel cut off the parts from the operation environment while allowing the IR beams to pass through.
Strengths
The transmission of infrared touch systems is 100% since no overlay covering the display screen. It can accept touches from a human finger as well as nonconductive styluses and it is zero activation force required, a touch event can be registered without requiring contact at the overlay. Infrared touch systems are high sensitivity, wear resistance, the lifecycle is longer than other touch technology.
